Information
Hamrar camping is one of Iceland's biggest campsites. We have about 20 areas that can each host between 30-50 units.
All our grounds have places with electrical hookups although there are not enough for every unit. In total we have about 250 electrical hookups available.
Hamrar is located just outside of Akureyri with plenty of recreational opportunities. During summer we have peddle boats and cars for hire and a minigolf course. We also have on-site playgrounds, a 18 hole frisbee golf course, a man size fussball, and many great paths for walking or skiing.
